Reconciliation & Peacemaking Purpose
While conflicts are inevitable in light of our fallen and sinful nature - what is of utmost importance is how we forgive and reconcile with others so that God is glorified. Christian schools are not exempt and many once promising Christian schools struggle with unresolved conflicts from selfish ambition, gossip, criticism, grumbling and a lack of love with broken fellowship. However, true Christian schools must be effective and Christ-honoring schools with relationships of unity, charity, grace and forgiveness. The Matthew 18 principle though grossly neglected - yet not optional - remains an absolute Biblical truth for the blessing of reconciliation and peacemaking.
