Biblical & Christian Worldview InService ~ Purpose
~ The Imago Dei Group offers InService Training/Workshops so that members of the entire school community will be equipped to think and act like a Christian from a Biblical and Christian worldview reference point. ~ While many Christian schools claim to teach a Biblical worldview - their school community often manifests character to the contrary.
~ This being especially so in the post-Christian culture we live in with even Christians abridging the attributes, truths and will of God.
~ Therefore, the ability to take every thought captive and made obedient to Christ is more than a lofty ideal - rather it is a Christ given imperative for academic and spiritual excellence as each enhances the other and both must be sought if we are to truly live in the image of God.
Details of the Biblical & Christian Worldview InService
InService/Workshops on developing a Biblical & Christian worldview are offered to board members, school leadership, faculty and the school community at large so that there will be a comprehensive and top down community/culture of Christian thought and character.
This InService can be offered in a variety of forums from inservices, to retreats to workshops.
Essentially, these forums are designed to equip the Christian to become erudite - seeking after the heart & mind of God - through the final reality of His revealed & absolute truths.
This entails Christian thought that disciplines the will of the mind along with the will of the soul to desire and seek after the truths of God with a growing passion for Christ.
Furthermore, such a Christian will develop the self-discipline to act in concert with a body that is properly treated as a temple of the Holy Spirit.
When Christian schools have such truth, value, meaning and purpose among its community - then they can in truth attain their vision for spiritual and academic excellence to the glory of God.
