Board Governance Training and Consulting
Purpose
The purpose of boardmanship training and consulting is so that the school leadership team (school board, headmaster and administrators) maximize their effectiveness and spiritual gifts in their cooperate service to the glory of God and the school community. The desired is a long-term and excellent relationship between the board and head of school that bears much spiritual and academic fruit. While their is a variety of systems and issues for board/headmaster governance - the agreed upon method must be Christ-honoring that ultimately seeks the mind and will of God - is obedient to Him and stays on course to the school's Bibliocentric vision & mission.

Board Consulting and Training can take place in a wide of forums. Whether at a board meeting to a board retreat or workshop - it is imperative that the school board first establishes its vision & mission statements along with a policy of governance that is based on Biblical principles and after God's will. The Imago Dei Group meets with and consults school boards on the vast array of issues and methods concerning board governance. The end result are recommendations that encourage the board to determine/refine/implement what would be the most Christ-honoring organizational and policy structure for proper use of authority/accountability for the school. The starting point of such begins in maximizing the board/head of school relationship so that in all matters the school leadership begins with the taking of every thought captive and made obedient to Christ.
